I’m taking you behind the scenes when I was feeling inadequate and unworthy around making money.

I share the steps that I took myself through to understand my wound, befriend it and heal from within somatically, and how I transformed this energy into one that makes me feel valued, seen, and whole.

Key Points:

  1. Our feelings of inadequacy often stem from tying our self-worth to money and productivity – I discovered this truth when I felt like a “burden” to my family.
  2. We internalize capitalistic beliefs without realizing it, thinking we’re only valuable when we’re making or generating money.
  3. The healing process truly begins when we stop running from our feelings of inadequacy and instead get curious about what they’re trying to tell us.
  4. Your existence alone is valuable – you don’t need to produce, achieve, or make money to be worthy of taking up space.
  5. When we heal our relationship with money, we can experience a beautiful shift from “I need to make money to prove my worth” to “I make money because I know I can.”

Actionable Takeaways:

  1. The next time you feel “not enough,” I want you to pause and ask yourself what emotion you’re feeling in your body. Get curious about where you learned that your worth comes from what you produce. Most importantly, listen to what your inner child might say about this.
  2. Start practicing this powerful affirmation daily: “My existence already takes up space and is super valuable, whether others like it or not.” Let these words sink in and become part of your truth.
  3. When you’re making money or working on your business, check in with your energy. Are you doing it to prove your worth? Or are you doing it because you know you can, from a place of wholeness? The difference in these motivations can transform your entire experience.
  4. Begin noticing all the ways you’re valuable beyond money. Your presence matters. Your ideas matter. Your ability to care for others, your unique energy, your creativity, and your joy – all of these are inherently valuable.
  5. Give yourself permission to just exist, to play and have fun, to be creative, and to spend quality time with loved ones without tying everything to productivity. This permission is yours to give yourself.
